Ribbons on “The Runway Gala” is The Pink Queen Foundation Annual Gala. We celebrate cancer survivors that are in the fight, cancer survivors that have won the battle, and remember those that are no longer with us. Survivors, and professional models (male/female) strut the walkway representing the various cancer colors. Our audience walk away knowing more about cancer and the representation of each cancer color. The various ribbons represent the struggle, fight, fear and hope of this disease. In the Fight: Cancer Fighters that are currently battling and are under treatments for radiation, chemotherapy, or recovery from surgery. Won the battle: Cancer Survivors that have completed all of their treatment(s) and have adopted a lifestyle of healthy living, and a stress-free environment. These survivors are either in Remission or Cancer Free.
Warriors: This is an emotional moment of silence where we light candles in honor of those that have lost their battle to this disease. Warriors sometimes are forgotten about. We dedicate a moment of this Gala to reflect back on those that have lost their fight. Celebration of Guest: All survivors and fighters in the audience are highlighted and we celebrate them center stage. |
We invite you to purchase your ticket today and celebrate with us. This will be an unforgettable night of fundraising, raising awareness, and celebration of the various ribbon colors.
